Knowing what to expect before you visit, makes actually visiting much easier. The information below gives you all the information you need to help make your visit a little easier.
HOW DO I GET TO GRACE?
We are located at 3305 Peters Creek Pkwy, Winston-Salem, NC 27127
What Time Does the Service Begin?
Our worship services begin at 9a.m and 10:30a.m. We do have Grace Groups (or Bible Fellowship Classes and Community Groups) for all ages during our worship services.
Where Should I Go When I Arrive?
We invite you to park in one of our visitor parking places in the large parking lot between our facilities and Peters Creek Pkwy. From those guest parking places you will enter the doors at the covered drive through area.
What Is There for My Children?
We have a nursery for those age 2 and under at all regular services.
On Sundays, we provide classes for kids of all ages at 9:00a.m and our 10:30a.m services. We also offer Kids Church for ages preschool through 4th grade during the 10:30a.m service.
On Wednesdays we have an exciting AWANA program that begins at 7:00pm.
What is the Music Like?
The music used at Grace is designed to lead people in the worship God, help them learn Bible truth, and provide an avenue to express faith in Christ. It is important to us that all music be in harmony with God's Word and performed in such a way that glorifies God.
Our music is intentionally blended. That is how we like it. We utilize a 50-voice choir, a praise team, 15 piece orchestra, drums, piano, and keyboard. We love singing biblical based and doctrinally rich songs regardless of their age. For this reason, we sing a lot of newer contemporary songs as well as some of the best hymns from the past.
It is our belief that the age of the song and the style of music is not nearly as important as the message it communicates. Our music ministry will lead you in the authentic worship of God.
What are the Sermons Like?
The sermons usually last 30-35 minutes. Our pastor usually focuses on one passage of Scripture. He seeks to explain it, help us understand it, and then apply it to our lives. Our goal is to both be challenged and leave changed as a result of our time in God’s Word.
How Long is the Service?
The services are about an hour long.
Do I have to give any money?
No. We do pass an offering plate in order for our members to give, but there is no expectation that visitors give anything.
What Should I Wear?
Again, we are a blended church which means that you will find some people wearing suits and others wearing jeans. The vast majority of people dress in business casual. Regardless, you are welcome to wear whatever you feel comfortable in. You will not feel out of place.
Will I be embarrassed from the stage?
Absolutely not. We will welcome all guests and encourage them to complete a 'Connection Card', but no attention will be drawn to you specifically.
How can I learn more about the Church?
There are a couple of ways. First, browse through our website. It will answer more of your questions. Second, if you are considering joining our church, we offer a 'On Ramp' class every 6-8 weeks.
